April 18 & 25: Pick up new plants in the greenhouse, tour the gardens for early spring bloom and take home our “magic” fertilizer to give your garden early and long-lasting nutrition. May starts the season with floods of flowers in full bloom.
Betty Ann will show the colorful results of 40 years of selecting and hybridizing these amazing plants.

Walk the gardens and observe landscaping principles. Even better, individual help with landscaping is provided, especially if you bring pictures. Two views are essential: From the street so we can work on "curb appeal" and out your favorite window in the back so we can work on a "view".
Ladyslippers are the queens of shady gardens. These kinds are proven hardy. See them growing here along with Rhododendrons, Trillium and Cyclamen. All kinds $80






Evergreen shrubs, flowering in sun or shade, bring structure to gardens. Many unique to Gardens of Rice Creek are offered for the first time. See the mature plants growing here. All kinds start at $25









Vigorous double Trillium. Rarest of the rare with flowers like white roses. Grow in part shade in dark, “chocolate cake” soil with good drainage. Flowering size, Limited supply: $50. (Single form $25)
